These guys were hired out of desparation to help this struggling company.
They probably came very cheap, or are loaded with so many Stock Options, they are trying anything to be acquired. They do nothing but bully, cheat, lie, and steal to get ahead. Unfortunately, they all work together, as they were hired together, to bully this company into some success. Sad.

Anyone looking to sell here should just run.

You said they were hired to help the company? What are you talking about my ignorant friend. They cant help because they acually don`t know anything. They bring nothing to the table. If they were going to go in the field they would be laughed at. They don`t know how to sell there own products. They are regional managers with a VP monikers. Have any of our reps tell you how horible they are in the field. no one has seen them for months. which is probably good. They are yes men to the bone.

 

This place is a joke. It'll be around for another year or two and if not sold off, will flounder. They'll start setting unobtainable quotas or cut commissions to the point where people leave and they can bring in inexperienced college grads or pharma reps with two years in the field. They'll pay them $40k a year and at plan will be lucky to make $60k. You see these companies come and go all the time.
If you're at Entellus, more power to you. I hope things turn out well and you make all the money you can while it's available. I would sincerely consider where it will be in a year or two and if you even want its name on your resume. Better to have it on while it's still a decent company than to have their name on your resume on its downswing.
You have a management culture that sounds more damaging than nurturing. Your hope for in-office procedures didn't seem to emerge as well as hoped, and I know you were hanging your hat on that for success.
This isn't going to be another VNUS. At this point, that company was showing massive potential and churning out good results.

 

Any current Entellus reps care to comment? Was looking at this place, but having seen some of the responses, I'm not sure this is a good step for me.

 

I work for Entellus and we are getting crushed by Acclarent. Moral is bad and many reps are looking to jump off this sinking ship. Awful place, awful products and we do 3 million dollars in sales. loll

 

I know my Acclarent rep(s) and Entellus rep... both good people, but I just don't understand Entellus' strategy. They are outnumbered by Acclarent I'd say at least 3 or 4 to 1. If they're not willing to invest in the human capital to get in front of surgeons, what are they willing to invest in?

 

looks like entrigue surgical may take over field once they get approval in US. Seems to be a much better product and great management.

What do you expect for a company that hires one of their RM's who was canned for ethical violations from Stryker? Sounds like the secret to success at Entellus is to tell a new hire to lie on their resume, get fired, and then get hired by Entellus as a manager. Good plan and says volumes about Entellus's hiring platform.

I got a call from a recruiter about an acclarent position as a marketing specialists but then she went on to explain a new office sales position that would be coming to focus more on the office. Which position would be better in the long term?

Agreed. You have a market where you are the only option and the doctors don't have a choice. Acclarent is losing momentum and will begin to lose even more market share. Rep turnover is coming there, big time.

 

Okay, so I guess there hasn't been any turnover at Entellus? Please, I've seen at least two different people wearing that name badge in my territory over the last year. The reason Acclarent still leads the market is simple, it's a better product.
Spin it any way you want to, surgeons want to use the light wire and like how flexible it is. I don't work for Acclarent but have seen both products used many times and the surgeons just seem to fumble less with Acclarent.
