Hear Dendreon expanding all over the country. Anyone been interviewed or received an offer yet?

I'd be interested if they expanded and made the territories smaller. Don't know why a drug with so much potential has so few reps. Dendreon really needs to increase the salesforce like the other big biotech companies if they want to maximize sales.

Provenge will be a very tough sell. Jevtana was recently launched, is half the price of Provenge without the hassle and the oncs make $ on it. $93,000 for 4 months overall survival? If medicare shoots it down, Dendreon would be dealt a crippling blow. Obamacare? Lots of ifs here.

That's because you are a moron and don't understand the drug. They can't produce enough provenge. That's why the sales force is small they are expanding because their capacity has expanded. nutKnuckle!

Who do I contact for employment? I've tried their website but nothing is on there. Any responses would be appreciated.

You can still submit a resume to their website - even though the position isn't listed.

Good luck getting someone at Dendreon to actually read your resume'. They already have hundreds of applications.

Anyone know of the salary range? Car allowance or company car? Options or grants?

Issue is not 93K, not the Medicare Reimbursement (Medicare will allow for Reimbursement after Nov 17th 2010), but the fact Dendreon's legal department does not allow private Urology or Oncology offices to draw patients blood and send into NJ site and be reimbursed for the service. Issue is that each patient must go to an independent location 3 times to have blood drawn and then Dendreon will send the product to the Uro or Onc to infuse. Conflict of Interest and lack of technology for aphressis at privately held Uro and Med Onc office (logistical nightmare for a 80 year old male with metastatic prostate cancer) This company is a "ginny pig" if you will, for other vaccine companies. Although, Mitch Gold, Dendreon's CEO has already pocketed 20 million on FDA approval (see fiercepharma reports) so he and major shareholders are not too concerned, they arleady have cashed out.

New poster here... Aren't there patients getting their PSA testing done outside the office already? Can they get all their blood work done at one site according to their PSA testing schedule?
