Not sure if this is true, this would have made the news. Was this reported anywhere else?

Yes it is true; I was on the call...I'm sure the 30 laid off is just the first round with more to come..

Yes it is true, I was also on the call. DL said 30 eyecare reps would be laid off today, mostly silver team, but a few other reps from RBG as well. They are also not re-hiring for the open positions so all in all the impact is greater than 30 reps. They are also realigning territories to offset the vacancies this would have otherwise created. The environment is toxic here in Eyecare.

There is only so much we can say about a 15 year old drug for a dry eye condition docs have grown increasingly apathetic towards; especially since the proliferation of PAs has grown substantially the past few years..

    Monday is D-Day for R&D.

No, this is not fake as it is stated in Allergan financial disclosings.

Rumors around Irvine have all been pointing to mid-august as D-Day and lately more specifically, Monday. Check who has booked a conference room all morning (hint...HR). Take a look at your HR rep calendar and see if it is booked all morning on Monday.

These have not been normal rumors but have come from multiple director/VP level sources.

    Be ready!

While they are at it, please lay off tenured primary care reps as well. Put them out of their own misery
