So I see there was a little setback on your plans to update the label for Eylea, karma is a bitch ain't it?!

So let’s see, on Tuesday the FDA issues a CRL. On Friday, the FDA (a deliberately slow organization) reverses it’s decision.
Hmmm, is anyone else wondering how this happened? Might be worth someone poking around a bit...

All I want to know is where do i sign up for a class action suite? After injections in both eyes on a Monday by Sunday I could see out of either eye. Called the Doctor who met me in his office on a Sunday, who then did emergency surgery on Monday to replace the fluid in both eyes. Said that i had got a infection from the shots and i was his first case. Then after starting to see out of my left eye but not out of my right, wanted to do cater ac surgery, then scar tissue surgery do to a broken glass effect and only seeing in my prefial. Then the eye pressure went up into the 50's so they put in a shunt to release the pressure. But never seeing out of my right eye again!! Now there talking about taking the eye out. WOW All this BS within a year half... SOMETHING IS WRONG

My husband (on the recommendation of our ophthalmologist) started seeing a retinal specialist. They said he had Retinal Vein Occlusion. He received Eylea injections in his left eye almost monthly for about a year. Shortly after receiving the last injection, he became dizzy and fell and the hospital said he had a subdural hematoma in the left frontal lobe. (His primary doctor thinks he had a stroke.) The symptoms are similar for both. I believe this was caused by the Eylea injections. I would like to talk with someone who is knowledgeable on this subject and knows other people who have had this happen to, caused by these injections.

I’m going to be cynical here and say this is a bogus poster. If their loved one had a CV event, the retina doctor would know the risks and have counseled them on the risk, especially if there were any prior health issues around CV. Calling a lawyer is only going to put the MD on the hot seat as the potential risk of stoke is documented in the PI.
