FDA seizes Rite-Dent

Hi, I just read that Rite-Dent has been seized by the FDA. http://news.yahoo.com/s/usnw/20110113/pl_usnw/DC30014

Does anyone have more information about this company?

 

They make impression materials and the like.

They have seem to have really pissed off the FDA. Sounds like they told them to take a flying leap, and they weren't going to fix the observations.

 

Actually what I heard was that all the issues involved were Quality Control Filing and packaging based. Can't imagine the offenses were serious or they would have recalled the product on the street and shut the company down. Need to do more research on this one.

 

YES THEY ARE SHUT DOWN. AND THEIR SISTER COMPANY WILL SOON BE TOO. THERE PRODUCTS ARE STILL BEING SOLD ILLEGALLY.

 

Does Gerry Niznick own this company?

 

no He sold it to Nobel last year thinking that would allow it to continue selling defective packaging

 

Actually, it is stated in the federal afadavit that the company had NO PROCEDURES to met 21 CFR 820 statues in the FDA's QSR. These FDA investiagtors removed documentation from the company numerious times. YOU ARE CORRECT....No recall on any product before the search and seizure of product, whihc in-fact was NOT removed but is still with the company. Imagine multiple U.S. marshall's at your door on a monday morning with numerious FDA investigator's and this went on for four days. Tax payer money at work. Simply obsurdity at its finest. Oh, the investigator have business cards with telephone numbers THAT DO NOT WORK. Can you DUM and DUMMER!!!!!!!!!
