How does HR allow Joe K. to get away with the BS? Totally unprofessional. He still has no clue and is hopeless.

Any details on firing. Certainly seems like there would be some action they could take

So, since the poster has not added any details to original post, I am suspect this is a hoax. So, many unhappy individuals working for Radius, why do they not just leave. It is so difficult to move forward with this bad energy,

When you break the rules and policies you get fired. Quite simple. Totally justified.

Only if you get caught...there are many employed who break the rules everyday. HR is selective around who they target, even when they are told of others having their own rules. If breaking the rules was the bases for termination then JH would be gone. Let's look at travel costs and reason why with an added ROI.

Do you leave a package insert on every call? Do you ask the doctor if they would like a PI? Is every call fair and balanced? Of course not, many time these “rules” are enforced subjectively. The sad part is you will never know all the facts unless you were involved.
In the cases here, some things were “leaked”. Very unprofessional and probably worth a call to an employment attorney.

I know a termination can be challenged if the reason for termination was not explored with everyone in the company. This is the challenge one might take with Radius. I know they did not review everyone's records, this would be almost impossible. This challenge is very time consuming and expense for the every one involved . If this process is opened up there will be an enormous amount of HR violations. So, if you have the time and money needed I believe you might have an excellent chance of winning

Very thoughtful reply. Only addition is it is more time consuming and expensive to do this type of investigation wrong and Radius is a small company.

It is very difficult to win a lawsuit for firing in most states. The difference here is The Radius HR department has zero investment in the employee, and 100% investment in siding with the company. They know it’s hard to win a case, and Radius is so small that few lawyers would take a case against them. Most of us worked for companies where the HR department was fair and looked out for the employees. This is not the case here. It’s one of the disadvantages of working at a poorly organized start up: if your manager decides they don’t want you, you will be gone.

Certified clueless! Every HR Dept. is for the company in every industry.

To the poster that said Radius HR is here for the company and not the employee, welcome to corporate America. HR is in place to protect the organization, which they did. The West ASD got fired, as well as others, for wrong doing. If one stays within the guardrails, there’s no issues. If one deviates from the guardrails, then that’s the risk they take. If someone leaks that they went out of the guardrails, you’re not protected. Learning here? Stay in your lane and within the guardrails and nobody gets hurt.

This assumes the guardrails are well known. Training for these issues was not well established. In fact, many were trained in official meetings and documents without addressing gray areas. Not so simple as stay within the guardrails.
