How is Flexicare's presence in the US market now? What about their sales organization ? What is the average salary + commission? Any feedback would be appreciated, thx.

It's hard to find positives when I think back on this company. Leadership leads by cracking the whip and micromanaging. R&D is poor - they will pay industry consultations to help with innovation and then completely disregard their feedback. Project managers and leadership have a mindset to tell the market what it needs, rather than investing in products that would solve current market challenges. Newly launched products show up to customer and do not work because quality control is non-existent. Logistically, their process or lack there of, is a nightmare. Product for customers is consistently backordered, late, or even missing and it's your job as a rep to track it/provide answers. Sample product requests take close to 2 weeks to receive. CRM is non-existent. Expect to include every detail of your daily activity, pipeline, forecast, and contacts on multiple repetitive excels to different internal parties that all want the same information. The company will not spend a cent on the customer, no lunches, no coffee, even sample requests over $200 need approval....Management made it a point to say that Flexicare does not participate in respiratory care week, meaning they will not pay for anything, but that our appreciation during this week is very important to customers so we must come out of pocket for these items ourselves.
If you are looking to break into the medical sales industry, this could be a last resort for you should other opportunities not materialize. Industry reps that have worked at half decent companies prior should swiftly avoid.
OTE advertised is not common, less than 5 of the top 10 reps in the company have hit this year's targets. Adjust your financial expectations accordingly should you take the job. Finally turnover is HIGH. Salesforce consists of about 30 reps nationally, of which 14 have resigned within the past year.
