People of the golden era of pharmaceutical sales, the 1950-1990 time frame, lost one of our own in May. J. Frank Brooksby passed away at the age of 90.
Frank was a tough taskmaster but if you really wanted to better yourself in your career there was no one finer to teach you to be the best you could be. Frank was a registered pharmacist but did not lord over you with his training, he used it to help you learn. I know, there were people in the Southern California area that did not agree with his methods, but they were the losers in that conflict. There were a few people that worked for Frank that made it high up in management but did they learn and apply the honesty in their high powered positions? That is for time to tell. I can only say that I will forever remember and thank Frank for being a fair and good man.
