    One word. Leave.

GSK is terrible. A couple of good people and then the rest of them are rotten apples.

Trust me, I'm trying. Been here 6 years and I'm 33 but may have stayed too long. Nobody to blame but myself

You can do it. On my way out as well. Company is full of Dog poop people. The culture is crap. They could care less abit their employees. Of course not everyone is, but most. You’ll find something better. Keep applying and don’t quit. If they would get their heads out of the sky they might stop to think about why so many people are reliving and even going to places for LESS pay.

They want people to leave = less layoffs

Here's a newsflash for you. GSK is trying to avoid layoffs. They've packaged so many out from previous downsizings they finally understand how expensive it is. Here is what's happening before your eyes if you care to open them. GSK is slowly going the way of the contract salesforce. First with the primary care division then with the biologics division. Those who are dumb enough to stick around will eventually be managed out or packaged out. Your severance will not be as robust as it has been in the past. They are revamping and it's not to our benefit. Just look at the cash balance plan. Look at the retirement / lifetime healthcare benefit. Both have been revamped and are worse than the former policy. Folks, you can lie to yourself all you want but this is not the company it once was. Hasn't been for decades. It's your life and your decision but I am getting off this train asap! Best to all.

Gsk is rotten to its core with layers of incompetent management. Emma and Maya think this is gonna be a premiere biotech company by relying on a contract sales force. Delusional

Well, im getting close to retirement and all i can say is I can’t get out of here fast enough! We spend more time on training and conference calls than in front of customers. No wonder AZ kicks our ass time and time again. So much distraction and the leadership here just sucks! Hasn’t been a good place to work since Deidra Connley started patient first. That was the company’s downfall. What’s funny is she thought other companies would follow suit. She should write a book on how to ruin a company while demotivating an entire saleforce. How do these Socialist get these jobs? Piss poor leadership. They are the ones who need to be terminated!

This is a socialist company! Look at Sir DimWitty. In 10 years company won’t be in top 20. Best FLL’S are gone or will be gone very soon.

Woohoo! Got my new job offer yesterday during the fast start meetings..... To my VBU friends, APPLY APPLY APPLY. You will find a job, and more than likely a better paying one! Don’t be content with staying at a toxic organization as your health both physically and mentally is not worth it. Life is too short. Prayers to all those who weather the upcoming storms.

Congratulations! Just wait until you are finally out and somewhere healthier! You'll love putting GSK in your rear view mirror. Now don't be complacent, work hard on self improvement, don't get caught back up in that lazy mentality that drug reps seem to bring to the table! Best of luck with your new endeavor!

To those who have their heads stuck in the proverbial sand, just take a look at all the threads on the GSK board here on CP. Now look at other organizations. No other company comes close to the amount of negative posts. Now step back and take an honest look at how we are treated. How you feel on a weekly basis. Bi-polar is the best description I can come up with. One day you walk on water the next you are role-playing with your FLL with coaching action items. Your numbers are good for a quarter and you are a god. The next quarter slips and you are dog crap. This repeats over and over and over. I am 47 years old, have a wife and two kids. Very active in my community and church. I try to give my best everyday. I am considered a responsible adult by all who know me. I'm too old for this. I just sent my resume to a small biotech. Wish me luck. Can't get out of here soon enough.

Definitely can’t get it done with a contract sales force. Not a chance.

HQ comment here... culture is definitely at a low point. Sales are horrible, pipeline is non existent outside a nucala indication (wow - not), RSV, nothing in Resp, and very little commercial value in oncology. The org is about to undergo massive changes which will demoralize and make culture worse. I am personally expecting a takeover by the end of 21

Why would someone buy us? There’s no value. Is there a competent leader anywhere in the company? Any pipeline? Just a bunch of losers who thrive on making people brown nose. Their idea of innovation is employing 1995 strategies in 2021. If MMD is smart, she’ll realize the people who report to her are bad and wouldn’t cut it at a real company. Primary care- dead man walking, immunology- going nowhere fast, oncology- dead on arrival.
I have an offer for late March start and I am so happy to be moving on from this radioactive wasteland. Why this company even bothered with oncology is beyond me???

There’s no value so why would someone buy us? Primary care- dead man walking, immunology- going nowhere fast, oncology- dead on arrival. Did gsk honestly think that they would be a player in oncology? They’re a joke in immunology, a joke in oncology. our leadership idea of innovation is employing 1995 strategies to 2021.
I have an offer for mid-March start date and hope that the good people here will wake up to the reality that GSK is a disaster. There’s no future here. Take care of yourself and don’t let the people who continue to run the company into the ground convince you that you’re not worthy.
