Good deed gone horribly wrong

    The lesson to be learned from this tragedy is that the government that we count on to protect us was horribly incompetent.

    Until agencies like the FBI and local law enforcement can demonstrate their competence and not let guys like Cruz fall through the cracks and go on to commit atrocities, even though they have been repeatedly warned that an individual is a problem don't even bring up the subject of more gun laws. That's not what we need. We need more competent law enforcement and we need armed teachers in school!

    So true but the times they are a changing. Maybe the government will end their incompetence by passing tougher gun control laws.

    I'm not surprised to see that you don't get it. Their incompetence doesn't involve the failure to pass more unnecessary gun control laws.
