    Yes, "managers, plural"!

If you think the "Regional Directors" really do anything you're an idiot. The company is all about what RV, JS and SR want. they pull the strings and you have to answer to them also. And by the way, some Region have "District Managers", which are actually reps who are appointed so that the Regionals don't have to do as many field rides, so you have to report to them also. So yes, you will have managerS!

Bottom line..... Great place to get experience with great products to sell. Make the most of the time there, learn all you can, and make choices that bring you happiness. Clearly all the postings in the world are not changing the culture or the climate there. Consider the company "the School of Hard Knocks" and you will have the best darn experience and training to survive anywhere!

it is a great place to work for 1-2 years... period..... fyi....5 people resigned this past week in the west coast of the nation. most had 2 plus years of experience. When will they learn?
Something has got to give. Great products, great people, just have to make a change.... as they say.... "when you do the same thing over and over again... and expect differenent results... that the def. of insanity"! :(

If you work in a part of the company where people are dirt poor, the healthcare infrastructure is barely 1 step above a 3rd world country and clinics don't have labs, this can be a very lucrative job.

I will give you the benefit of the doubt that you meant "country". Obviously, you know little about this "company" or those who are successful and where they live.

How long is the interview process? Had phone screen but that's about it. No real details were discussed. Like, car vs. allowance, computer, phone, ect... Salary and expected bonus. Appreciate your sharing.

There is no one that is happy here except for mike m and rod v.
Mildly happy is James because he takes 6 weeks of vacation every year.
Atherotech is just hoping that hdl stays out of certain regions and that soon the insurance companies stop paying hdl and Atherotech can pick up some residual
Everyone struggling to make a buck. .

Its a simple job that you can be very successful at if you can concentrate on the basics.

That simplicity, however, is being lost in bureaucratic hell. You will be suffocated with endless, mindless, micromanaging busy work. It was a great job in years past and actually entrepreneurial, as the expectation is was to go out and find business.

If you can tune out all of the distractions and concentrate on what you really need to do, you will do fine.

Absolutely the most micro managed company out there. Run far away.

The product is awesome. The company's business model is a joke and the resulting micromanagement is intolerable. Only going after single doc family practices? No partnerships with large draw sites? Not putting the technology in large hospitals around the country?
I don't see a problem with any of this. Atherotech has it all figured out.

The "leaders" here couldn't lead a church choir out of a burning tent. Its just a bunch of Good Ol' Boys trying to get the company sold, and going about it the only way they know how which is one single type of customer that is rapidly dwindling in today's healthcare marketplace. But you can't tell them that......no way.

This company is soooo dysfunctional in the Midwest. Seriously looking to get the heck out soon. I am amazed at how mis-managed things are under James Straza and his cronies. What is really sad, is that upper management refuses to recognize why so many people are leaving.

RUN!!!!! And that does not stand for the stupid RUN Report that you fill out every week because the company can't figure out that they need a real CRM!

Seriously you can't fill out a run report each week? Are you retarded? It's just a pipeline, it's not that big of a deal. Join the adult world and stop crying or go back to Pharma
