One of the first meetings Trump had with business leaders, I saw Gorsky sitting right next to Trump. Do you think that was an accident? Why would Gorsky get all political? How does that grow the bottom line? Stock price? Even if he wanted too........Say what? How much do you think JNJ cares about the business coming out of those countries? It's probably a zero sum gain with sales and freebies. JNJ has and will always be about $$$. Don't fool yourself into thinking otherwise. The CREDO is a fabulous marketing slogan and nothing more. Look at senior leadership it's a great example of diversity and inclusion...It looks and was carefully put together to represent all minorities. None of them make the biggest decisions. They fall inline and collect stock options or they're put to pasture. Gorsky is smarter than any of us posting on this site. I'm certain none of us went to Wharton. C'mon people get a grip!!!

 

I work for JBI northeast (the greatest region ever!) and Alex routinely consults with the managers here to get a pulse on what's happening. Right now he is working hard on figuring out a way to retain the top talent that we are so I bet he mentioned us to the President! Wake up there will be 2 classes of people and automation will kill their minimum wage jobs and we will be stuck supporting them all before a revolution. They will want what you have.

Our VP at JBI is super tied in with AG and the Board and she told us the J&J considers us the rudder that steers the ship and because of that our jobs are super safe. As a matter of fact, we are expecting huge bumps to our base salaries and a more lucrative bonus plan because the Board is scared to death about losing "the best sales pros in the world," as we are known to be.
