Everyone just stop and will someone please hire someone who can get coverage for this product? I don't want to look for another job.

Coverage is the key. Grafix does not have the right people in place which know the key players and can secure coverage. Either hire a new Market Access dept or get a new job. The gig is up.

How is coverage in the Florida market?

Shitty in Florida. Massive confusion as to what is and isn't covered. No office coverage. Reps in Florida are struggling. Our policy teams blows.

Grafix is one of the hottest products in the market right now. While you DBs waist your time whining about policy, more LCDs drop, like Novitas JH. Florida will drop soon and then the others. Then it's game on. Management needs to stop asking Reps for TPS reports and trust them to build momentum and product use gradually. Nobody goes from 0 to 2million in 6 months unless you are paying people. Oh yeah and look where that mentality got ABH and now MiMedix. So guys in MD, just chill and watch your Reps do something special for you. By the way, cutting commission from 10% to 7% was the dumbest thing I've ever seen. You do that in static markets where share is contracting, not in rapid growth markets in a product launch phase. Somebody needs to go back to business school and learn about how to actually run a sales force....

LCDs can drop like rocks, but if you have a high cost / high bundled product that does not have decent net margins, volume will never grow. Pass Through is gone, that was the launch period where there was a reimbursement advantage, we missed our chance.

Wrong again Lumberg. There is still a reimbursement advantage under the bundle because when the size shrinks, the cost shrinks unlike Apligraf & Dermagraft. Their days are numbered. Too bad soooo sad.....

Lumberg here, so if a wound is less than 8-10 sq cm, we are good? What if I wasn't talking AG/DG and maybe Epifix? What if the wound is greater than 8-10 sq cm? What if our margins are break even only if PT pays 20% copay? What if we have no head to head clinical data? Other products are crushing it now, and they have multiple sizes. The real world is a tough sell. Even the cadaver graft has huge margins for the next year or so. On top of everything, nurses complain about he 50 lb box they have to lug around.

Lumberg you obviously work for MiMedix. How does that Fed investigation taste? You may have crushed it for a little while because you came out first "with no respectable clinical trial data". Those days are over. What other multiple size graft could you possibly be referring to that is "crushing it" in the market other than Grafix and maybe EpiFix last year? I would love to be a fly on the wall at your Sales Meetings. Managers freaking out, Numbers in the toilet, Fed Gov threatening action.... You should quit now and find better jobs before you are forced to..

You are dumb. These Medicare policies are not adding Grafix. They are adding it by default and covering all graft products. How is that a victory? Sales is not dumb. We know this is a marketing campaign on behalf of the policy department to make it seem like they work. Lode could have paid a monkey to do a better job.

hahaha. he reminds me of a guy who decided one day that he wanted to play golf so he went out and read a book on how to swing a golf club and is trying to follow it word for word. it doesn't work like that. gotta have some ability.

cant just read a book on how to sell or be a manager and follow it word for word. #toolbag

Sales is definitely not stupid. We call Pam M for help since policy won't explain things correctly Can't Lode hire Pam M away from Epifix? She was the one who did all the work at Abh while TD and CS took credit. Pam has contacts and strategic knowledge! SHE is the BEST in the industry.

Hi all, doing some research on whether this is a good company to join in the ranks of sales. Any good intel? Is the company doing well, growing, moving forward etc., or are there any potential landmines to look for? Thank you in advance for any assistance.

Don't walk- run away from this place. Director of Sales is involved in a potential serious investigation with the DOJ for his actions at a previous company. Also, the products aren't great. A ton of new amniotic products coming out and their flagship product only has one clinical trial which wasn't that much more impressive than established products. Management is a joke, reimbursement team is terrible. I'd stay away at all costs.
