Dallas next week for interviews. 19-20 positions to be filled?
How many people do they bring in per spot and what kind of questions do they ask?
    Any other thoughts?

I was an interviewer with Syneos (and InventivHealth before corporate realignment).
Syneos almost always brings in 3 to interview, all within a few hours. They interview one right after the other, 45-60 minutes each.
After all 3 done, they give the job to one person and platitudes to the remaining two.
Q's are in typical S.T.A.R. format. Fairly easy, no prep needed. Just make sure you're African American.

This is spot on except the AA part. I interviewed recently and didn’t see any AA’s there at all.

That's one reason AAs are a "shoe in". Recruiters get a bonus for it too.

And it can be an effective marleting strategy. So often when an AA rep walks into a clinic and asks to get samples into the doc's practice, the "white guilt" of the doc or head nurse kicks in and the rep gets sent straight to the drug cabinet. The samples then sell themselves in cases where the doc gets good feedback from patient. The AA rep doesn't need to be competent about the drug.

Also, a lot of pharma companies (like GSK) are trying to make up for past egregious marketing practices. So they can "hide" behind the face of the AA rep as many see them as the downtrodden in society.
