If canning 3,500 minions saves us $500 million a year, then canning 35,000 will save us $5 billion big ones.

 

3500-2300=1200. So do 1200 people work at the sites that are being closed?

 

No. China research center is probably no more than 250. Media reports indicated 134 jobs in Iowa closure and Bridgewater ~160 jobs although some jobs were relocated to NYC and Branchburg. They also said OUS reductions timing could vary and may not get much coverage unless they close a site. Not to mention Dave's announcement also indicated targeted reductions outside the 3500. Reportedly, no department has been given their 2018 headcount targets yet. So more cuts are definitely coming.

 

Is there still talks of getting rid of forteo?

 

Any post Thanksgiving insights on layoffs from the inside? Wondering how many smaller territories will disappear completely. Does it depend on territories SOM?
