Stay away from this place if you can! A once great company is now operating in a micromanaged way with weekly quizzes and routine selfies making sure you are verbalizing the correct messaging.
New young GM Emily thinks she is all cool and hip yet she prides herself in getting rid of tenured reps whom she refers to as "coasters" and calls her RM team - "you mother f*****s. She is crass, ruthless and only cares about herself but has her little favorites like TR who she spends extra tutoring time to help her buddy get her numbers up while she fires others for coming in in the mid to high 90s in very tenured penetrated territories. They fire successful tenured sales reps after 10-15-20years with the company and provide NO SEVERANCE. It's disgusting!! The CEO is a culturally backwards snotty little man who could give two craps about the field reps.
They say that they encourage candor - yet when you speak up in the most respectful and professional manner - you are accused of being"negative". Leadership nitpicks the reps on petty things. If you are brought up on some flaw - and you are off on your sales numbers - they will find a reason to get rid of you.
Men are protected while the women are stomped on. They have a few select female executives but they drink The George Tea and obey just to have a leadership position!! So glad I'm out of the hellhole.

This is right on. Also check out the reviews on Glassdoor. Their management team keeps a close eye on what reviews are being posted and will quickly refute anything that seems negative. I know current and former workers and the place is a mess. It all comes down from that president George Malakiel. Reps are not making the money they use to and Emily is turning the place upside down. Work at Coloplast. At least they have innovative products and don't micromanage their reps to death.

I agree the company is defiantly taking a downward spin. Overly micromanaging sales reps, management talks down to their employees. They are moving towards a turn and burn sales rep mentality. I know of at least 10 reps who are actively searching for other jobs.

The new GM is a joke and two-faced. She says horrible things about employees in meetings, which is completely unprofessional. The CEO is no longer good for the company and the VP has no sales experience and has no idea how to run a sales force. HR has turned their heads when it comes to serious issues. Really disappointing because Hollister was once the company everyone wanted to work at. They continue to force so many people out of the company, maybe when they start losing market share they will change.

It's time to move on from this company!!

Emily just wiped out her entire RSM team so she can have her newly hired robots in place to stand and salute her. Board members & George Emily & Caroline making the big bucks while long term reps get shoved out the door - major major hospital account just flipped to Coloplast with not a negative hair to strike that rep’s Head or the manager while if the same were to happen in reps who were on plan or targeted because their “attitude” was at question it would be grounds for dismissing. Everyone is miserable and busying studying for their quizzes and falling over taking selfies on messaging. Emily grew up on a farm. She learned how to shove her arm up a bovine’s butt. She has told this gem about herself a million times. The End.

Out here at the Sales Meeting, morale is horrible. Everyone is planning on leaving this shrinking ship as fast as they can. So sad

Once again, they raised the goals to unimaginable amounts. Just when you think the morale can't get any worse, it does. The managers are even having a hard time explaining the goals. Seriously, this just shows the complete lack of understanding and disconnect. Now customers are starting to complain, because of all the backlash from woundcare.

i cannot believe what has happened to this company in less than a year. Good luck with the new management. I feel bad for the people handcuffed to this company by Hollishares. The grass is greener and there is happiness and good people on the other side. Don’t stay somewhere you are not happy - life is too short.
