New Teva (NYSE:TEVA) CEO Kare Schultz plans to fire as much as 25% of the company's Israeli workforce, according to the Calcalist, and will begin dismissals in the coming days.

Michael Hayden, head of global research and development, is also expected to leave the drugmaker, along with 20% of Teva's workforce worldwide.
