Yeah, what a bunch of suckers. I've been prepping my best customers for the release so I will hit the ground running. You guys should follow my strategy. You just show up for clip applier CER's(since they happen non stop) and while you have the attention of the materials manager you tell them about how Applied is going to bring them a stapler that is "revolutionary" and probably loaded with "Phase" technology. If(probably won't ever come up, but if) they happen to ask why they should trust an Applied stapler when they can't even get a clip applier that works you overcome that objection by giving them our business model and company story. Because that really resonates with them.

 

Shows how much you idiots know. Phase technology is exclusive to Voyant!! It won’t transfer to stapling. There will probably be another similar ground breaking tech attached to it though... Go out and sell!

 

You can't be serious and think Applied is coming out with a stapler, can you?!? Never going to happen. Just because they showed you a prototype doesn't mean it's coming anytime soon. They have to get around all the patents and you won't find a worthwhile surgeon who would touch it. Each of you will have moved on from Applied and found much more meaningful employment before you'll see an Applied stapler on the market.

I used to work here years ago and my old boss always used to say shit like this to me on “overcoming objections.” He didn’t get it and was the biggest tool you would ever meet. The poster above is correct, Said has a great scam going on with the rent. Remember, you are paying the rent to Said out of your paycheck. Leaving Applied was the single most beneficial decision I have ever made in regards to my work life. Ask any former Applied rep and they will tell you the exact same.
