The 5quarter plan is such bs. My advice, read Bronze Age Mindset, hit the gym, answer emails and look for another job. I did that for Q4 and it has paid off. Good bye Applied!

The 5 quarter plan nothing a serious company would ever pull on their employees. This should tell you Applied is making no money and the Voyant joke is a flop.

rumors have been swirling in corporate for a year or so now that revenues have been basically flat and Applied’s creditors and VC’s are screaming for them to start repaying their debt. No new innovative products, lost contracts, negative reputation in the market, zero new opportunities for growth, the list goes on and on. Company is failing and needs to be sold/bought out. The old regime isn’t fooling anyone and it wouldnt surprise me if Said starts contemplating a sale to pay for his daughters and nieces weddings/trusts since he’s getting near the end and getting ready for retirement.

Looks like the zonies are in full panic mode and out doing field rides now. They don't seem to realize that surgeons no longer have any influence and not being on a GPO means no chance.

are they not meeting DG's 1M signature quota?

They over paid people last year and now they gotta make it back this year. 2020 will be a better year. Won’t get a GPO agreement for 3-5 years. Possibly getting 2 large IDNs over 200 hospitals to get a voyant contract.

If that happens gpos will come after.

Still 3 years out. Enjoy the time getting signature forms and hitting the gym

I just read Bronze Age Mindset based on one of the prior comments. That book will really change your outlook on work/life and how we are slaves to Said.

Look for other jobs. Layoffs are coming.

Voyant isn't selling, trocars accounts are all gone, Gel is a niche, Alexis has plateaued for good and the rest of the bag isn't significant. Even as stupid as the management at Applied is, they aren't going to keep everyone on when the company isn't making money.

They realize that they went all-in on Voyant and it is an utter failure. As much as they play up the signature forms they know it's not generating any revenue.

Start looking for another job ASAP before it's too late.

How is a signature going to make me any money?

it’s not and that is exactly the point. The company is scrambling and throwing hail mary’s at this point in an effort to save face. We’re not innovative and have been selling commodity products that very few clinicians care about. I can’t tell you how many reps/specialists/managers have left either by their own accord or not in the past 5 years but it’s probably over 1,000. When you have a company as small as Applied Medical have that much turnover, it speaks volumes to the kind of shitshow that we are living in. I’d love to know what the turnover rate is here. The prior posts hit the nail on the head: start looking for a new job before it’s too late. I also remember reading a post about a doctor who posted on here and made a mockery of these signature forms our mgmt team wants us to get filled out. They mean NOTHING to an administration and are simply a formality to make us get out of their face. Please do right by your families and start looking before Said throws you to the curb like an old toy/doll.

if you tried, you can close 1 Voyant in a year. Yea it’s not easy but it’s not impossible. 22% is worth it. Most reps here are service people
But if you had any decent relationships or salesmanship, you should close something.

The product works, it’s not better than ligasure but there has to be an account that’s been screwed by medtronic.

Honestly take you 2 days to figure t out

the goal isn't to close voyant accounts, it's to get signatures. that's how we're going to make money.

another wasted day for a district meeting on how to get forms signed.

Seriously this is a joke, no wonder why people just quit. How do I make money by forms signed? Is my Manager or even better DCA going to close this deal? Those morons are either drunk or stupid, neither can close a deal

Who writes this stuff? Have they ever even talked to a surgeon about voyant? This isn't even relevant and I can't figure out how a signature is going to pay me.

unfortunately no.......you sound younger than some reps so I will let you in on a little secret. Said and Gary and all the other clowns in RSM haven’t sold shit in their life and go by what their engineers tell them is “the best.” Most real companies like Stryker, Medtronic, etc have consultants and KOL committees that vet the products out or speak on the company’s behalf. But because is a moron that doesn’t understand how this industry works, he’s seeing his empire fall before his very eyes and is in panic mode.

To be fair, I don't think it was them who came up with the signature idea. I'm sure that was the brainchild of DG or TS. Just sayin....

I'm not hating on anyone for getting their start at Applied, but if you've been their for longer than 3 years you need a wake up call. I could imagine still working their and taking marching orders from CR, ML, DG or that moron running the company. When you get out and start working for a real company you will see that those in positions of power at Applied are utter jokes. So either wake up and leave or guzzle more of the Kool-Aid. Hopefully your bank account will tell you which way you need to go.

I remember reading some posts awhile ago about the aforementioned dipshitz. They wouldn’t last 1 week at a real medical device company. Many people don’t know the story about DG and why he got “let go” from US Surgical but I do. Pretty embarrassing and he should be ashamed of himself
