    4.0m growth vs 2016
    Not the stellar performance that keeps this boat afloat!! Get the resumes polished, we can't even pay for ourselves:/

    Hard to believe how they have run this ship aground, but look what they have done to sabatoge their own success:

    1) demanding reps force-sell product into hospitals much too quickly, alienating customers and creating a sales environment driven by fear;
    2) ignoring and (in many cases) intentionally bypassing hospital protocol,
    3) high turnover (especially among the most experienced reps, who eventually become personally and professionally disgusted with the company's approach);
    4) cowardly management (if Quinn is the best you've got, look out),
    5) horrendous pricing and contracting strategies hat make the company and the reps look foolish
    6) little to no investment on new indications,
    7) a marketing team that has never understood the marketplace

    These missteps have made AI the worst performing division in this company. Right Bill M and Jerry L? You can try to blame others (Gerry A, April, Cary R, the RD's) but never forget everyone under the big 2 only last as long as they "go along" and don't object. Everyone from the RD level down is nothing but a puppet and a mouthpiece for upper management. Play along or be replaced....the Forest/Allergan way. What a waste; this division could have been great.

    REPEAT AFTER ME: Hospital sales is the same as any other sales there is absolutely no difference and any manager or executive we put in will learn the job in one week and will bring a new cross, functional perspective.

    Repeat until your eyes glaze.

    Until senior management figures out maybe they ought to listen to people who have done this for awhile this will be the graveyard where senior management goes to die or retire in failure. How many RD's and how many VP's have already been eaten alive?

    Keep throwing them in the meat grinder.

    CR is the greatest. He will rescue this division after SHE messed it up but what do you expect. He did wonders in WH, just ask him. I'd say ask anyone who was there when he took over but they've all gone on to bigger and better things. At other Companies.....
    He's the best in the business. He will change the way Hospitals see Reps. He will show them it is THEY not US who need to change!
    All hail the great CR

    Q2 2017 Anti/Infectives weak. When you compare each product to last year Q2, not much to hang hat on. TF down from 35.2 to 33 million/DV up from 10.2 to 15.2 and AVY only up 13.7 to 14.5 million. On comparison, Vraylar brought in 66.3 million this Q2 by itself. Of course, hospital sales for Vraylar were probably a small contributor to this total. Oh well, guess we can feel secure and wait till 2020 to launch Rapastinel in the ER at $200-400 a dose. Right!

    Great. Add them up. 250 million per year approximately. Divide it by 225 reps and managers, also approximately and it's 1.2 million dollars in revenue per person.

    Plus two of the three brands are growing and we're getting prepared for other Hospital brands we may acquire or develop on our own.

    Why all the bitching and doomsaying when we've been here for 7 years and it's not like anyone is buying antibiotic franchises right now?
    Geez. you people.

    GEEZ??? You are clearly an ignorant plant to this board.
    Convenient you left out costs for marketing, ridiculous Speaker programs, cost of goods sold (yes, it costs MONEY to make, produce, warehouse and ship product) wait, whats left? NOT MUCH!
    Anyone who's still here after 2 years is treading water waiting for a layoff. Fools, the whole lock, stock & barrel!!!

    Agreed. I don't think it's even wise to wait for severance because the new Allergan package is not as lucrative as the Forest (expired) package.

    wow, you must be an Economics Major- from clown college. so lets play along...at most subtract out 200K per rep (do you really think it costs more than that including all the 'costs' you describe??). how much do you think it is to make these drugs?? how about incremental growth in back years compounded by pipeline launch products? so 1MM per person cleared is as much if not more than any sales team. BTW, 250mm is half fueled by teflaro without even considering the upside being bigger of the 2 newer ones.
    bottom line, great team, great environment after serious initial growing pains. turnover is the same as any team at most companies.
    now, I'll allow you to respond genius; get a thesaurus, dictionary and google so you can sound somewhat intelligent and credible.

    Any layoffs on the hospital side? Lots on the Primary Care side

    Of course there were no layoffs in hospital. We are the best and most profitable division in the company. We are seasoned professionals who know what to do and how to generate sales. Plus we are led by Renner, who is the best leader since General Patton!
