Hot Married Sex

Hot Married Sex should be in the same sentence, but isn't always. It dissipates over time...I don't care what anyone says.

If married sex was 'hot', most women would be waiting for the husband to come home laid out on a silver platter in sexy lingerie. By the time they both caught their breath, you do it over again. THAT is hot married sex. Being at work and thinking about how you can't wait to get your hands on your husband everyday. THAT is hot married sex. Being in bed or on the floor and taking your time pleasing and being pleased...THAT defines hot married sex.

Otherwise, it's just married sex. Only by opinion. Great sex starts in the mind. In a marriage, the mind sometimes gets flooded with work, kid or house-related things....and so it goes. Just my opinion.

 

Libs - take your wife out to dinner and nicely talk to her about her hygiene. Who else will? I don't understand how she can be a 'professional' and disregard her personal care. It sounds like she doesn't care.

 

Then I'm the only creative son of a bitch on this board. After almost 30 years I still hunt that woman down and take her. I guess what DD says is right that you have to work at a good marriage but I swear to you that we have so much fun together. When the kids left it was just like a free for all.

 

It does start in the mind, where I imagine being bent over by two hot 30-something buff, well-hung studs who tell me what a bad beautiful girl I am. . . . maybe write nasty things in marker all over my body while Mr. Gams takes pictures for our later private enjoyment.

I am not really knocking you as I do think you are a great guy. . . but-all guys think even bad sex is great. Could there be a reason you have to "hunt her down" and she's not laying on a silver tray with nothing on just waiting or you?

 

Your stats are way out of date. Even the 43% of first marriages that end in divorce are skewed due to those that marry before age 25. College educated, older kids have much better odds. Of course really looking at the stats would prevent peopel from having a handy excuse.

 

Libs, that could be a deal breaker.

 

I know many people who have great marraiges and the sex is not what it once was. It doesn't destroy a marriage, although I believe great sex can accent it and take it to another level.

As far as Libs and his lady friend, I have always said that he feels more for her than just the physical. My sense is that he needs and wants intimacy which given the setting when it happens, seems to satisfy him. So be it.

 

Well - from my perspective, because he still understands she wants to be courted and "hunted down".

 

I get that - totally. But to sour on the idea that great married sex is possible is sad to me.

 

Could be. . . but it is still pretty damn bad. It has been easily 15 years since I actually looked. . . just another thing that I really don't give a shit about. (I only have time in life to care about things that I can actually control.)

GG - the problem here is that we all define great or hot married sex differently. I don't see it as just the physical action. It's the desire, the passion, the mental excitement that culminates into it being 'hot'...whether through a look, a word, a touch. If both people are hunting each other down after 30 years, I applaud that!

 

Well sure, real life gets in the way some time. But PHo gets that it is real life that gives you the desire to look past the drudgery and see why you are still married. It might take some effort to shut out the day and focus on each other, but I find people in affairs are very willing to do that for their affair mate but not for their spouse. If it's right, the sexual relationship interrupts real life now and then too!
