    In contrast to big drug companies, the appeal of startups is easy to understand – the self-actualization, the sense that your individual contribution not only matters but is essential, the feeling of David vs Goliath, the allure of significant upside, both in terms of impact (disruption, making the world a better place, etc.) and financial return.
