How do we know who our roommates are?

Better yet, call your primary care doc and get a note simply stating "For medical reasons ______ should not have a roommate during company meetings." That is ALL it needs to say. You never have to disclose personal medical information. Submit this letter to your HR and manager and you will forever have your own room. Problem solved!

Does the note have to identify a specific disease?

The best way to get out of this is to make a complaint of irritable bowel syndrome. You would prefer to stay with someone who also shares the same symptoms as you.

No one will admit to it...but you have put it on the table. You will have a single room forever.

Good idea. If they ask specifics they are in violation of HIPPA laws.

They CANNOT ask specifics. It would be a healthcare privacy violation. Just get the note and submit it. Single room for everyone! Activas/Allergan had roommates a few years ago and half the company submitted notes. No questions asked

Your room mate is the company pervert. Lucky you.
