How do you go 1099 as a rep???

Does anyone know how you can sell additional lines as a 1099 rep while you are at another company? Cross-selling other lines that don't interfere with your current line? I have heard of this but am not sure how to do this?? Any help would be appreciated. Currently an implant rep and ANYONE that claims that they are too busy is just.............well an idiot. Anyone with any organizational skills can run a territory and sell another product line just fine.

 

when i was with nobel i heard of this but the reps where fired
if you are going to risk losing your job over it then do not do it
one alternative way is to work with the manufacturer and if you have a lead then share it with them and then they can pay you for introducing the lead - lets call it partnering.....
