Very few blacks or Lithuanians work here

You don't even speak English correctly. Your syntax is mangled, just like your motives and your intellect.

Hahahaha. You must not know how to navigate in LinkedIn. Afr-Amer make up 12% of the USA population, why should their percentage in anything else be different?

How many employees do we have? Do you really know or are you just blowing smoke. And not just the number from the 10Q, you're asking about sales directors. And why only sales directors? Sounds like you're a scammer from a west African country

It is starting to make sense why your leadership has consisted primarily of men over the years. This is what is considered privilege in society today. You want to question motive and intellect while we want to understand the motive for only white men climbing the ranks. Also, please save time and not reference Carrie Strom in her role.

If we use your logic why aren't more women in leadership positions at Allergan? Women make up a significant percentage of your salesforce and the general population, but it doesn't appear they have climbed the ranks at Allergan. You cannot reference Carrie Strom as she just got the role.

Once again, another poster helping bring clarity to why Allergan's aesthetic business is all about privilege. You readily referenced Africa in your attempt at a rebuttal. It's obvious there is a problem at this company that demands a deeper dive.

What you call privilege, others call hard work and ambition, not quotas

The bottom line is that in aesthetics, the majority of leadership director and above level is white, and male. Some women are ascending at director level (upstream & downstream marketing), and above, but as for business development - male. There is some diversity in that division, however african americans are simply not part of the leadership. Allergan's comp. structure is to reward director level and above with annual bonus, stock, etc. Director and below, certainly there are some perks offered, but not nearly as financially relevant as director & above.

There is definitely a boys club. Todd Reed, Carrie Strom, and even Modazedi were tenured. Carrie's promotion was a matter of succession planning. However, given new entrants into neurotoxin (ahem, Evolus, Modazedi), giving Botox a serious run for their money, we'll see if Carrie can withstand any blowback should sales start to slip. (I hope so, I think she is a great example of female leadership, and rest assured, she's been groomed for this.)

Thanks for checking in Tod. How smug. You are suggesting that blacks, hispanics and women don't work hard and are not ambitious? Arrogant, racist and misogynistic idiot.

Hey jimbo, how's your IT department doing tracking down the names and IP addresses of the posters in this forum?

So easily offended. Re-read the post. I'm talking about ambition, not quotas, nor race nor gender. But that seems to be lost on you because you and the original poster are easily offended and want something for nothing. You think society owes you something. It doesn't.

You should "re-read" the post. It clearly comments on your stereotypical ambition comment. You chose to validate the racist foundation of your original post in your silly rebuttal. You are a contributor to what appears to be an unhealthy culture at Allergan. The next step is to review not only the talent planning but the percentages that make up the levels at Allergan. Allergan Medical is an easy target for a lawsuit.

Well considering you have to have a college degree to even get even an entry level job I’d say 0%. Why should they represented when their population in numbers is 83% less than whites people. Take that 13% and figure how many with four year degrees from accredited schools. It’s 19%, i checked. Then how many are qualified to get the entry level job THEN how many of those are around after a year? How many of the one left are qualified to lead?

Get it? The numbers aren’t in their favor.

This post demonstrates what is wrong at Allergan. You failed to comment on the blacks that have been hired by Allergan, have been promoted by Allergan and are currently in positions of leadership. Allergan also has a large percentage of women employed in facial aesthetics in the past decade yet women in leadership positions above sales management of representatives is poor. Once in the company your track record is horrible and warrants deeper investigation.

Maybe they aren’t worth promotion? Maybe they don’t want it? Maybe the pay sucks with the extra travel?

How about you ask a fucking black guy? Whitepeople trying to solve probmlems for them hasn’t really worked you, just ask one.

why is our society so focused on skin color or ethnicity, who cares?

You’d care if the entire management team was black and were appointed because of skin color. What do you think that culture would look like?
