150-200 Allergan GI Specialty reps will be moving to Abbvie as partners with the current Creon sales force. The acquisition should close any day now.

Displacement calls start at 8 for WH and GI. No word on how many

Today is the announcement that there will be layoffs in those divisions. Then they also get instructions on when to wait for the phone call

 

Thanks tips, all of the layoffs are already done in WH and GI.

Specifics like what? They put a cal on everyone’s calendar for 6 pm last night where they announced that both WH and GI were on the call and that 90% of the two combined would be retained and 10% would be displaced and the displacement calls would start at 8 am and if you didn’t get a call you will get an email for another 6 pm call tonight to discuss the integration. Obviously you’re not in either division so why do you care?

 

Last time they did a primary care lay-off they said it would be 6 percent reduction and it seems more like 20 percent

Since this is prior to the Abbvie acquisition I assume none of these folks are getting the one year severance package?
