There is no law, state or federal, supporting or mandating the amount of severance a company of an industry has to offer its displaced employees. Go have a drink and put on some pants before your kids get home from summer camp.

There is NO LAW that mandates a severance of any sort. The Pharma industry does it as a courtesy. VPs and above have contracts that clearly spell out their severance package and is a legal document. To alter said contract, both parties have to be in agreement. For directors on down, there are few of any employment agreements. Where here are none, the company can change the terms of severance or discontinue severance as they do choose.

This is 100% accurate. I know of friends and family who were let go from jobs after 20+ years and got absolutely nothing. They were in a different industry. Point is that companies do not have to give a severance. Period. Now its probably in AZ best interest to offer some type of severance to prevent lawsuits and the like. So they will probably still offer it, but can change that offer at any time.

you are forgetting the UK employees - if they were here for the Zeneca ICI merger then they get 85% of final pay as a pension FOR FUKING LIFE !!

Why do the US employees get the shaft - because they pay the UK losers if they work or not. Only shooting US personnel saves money.

PLease keep an orderly line as we send you in to be shot. Damn Colonists.

CVMD will continue to miss target with the current leadership team in place. MC failed to understand the broken culture in Wilmington. Ruud is about to get a Ruud awakening!

MC put way too much trust in the wrong people. LF is an opportunist only looking out for himself, and SW is a basket case and in over her head. LF, the opportunist, does this quite well, which is a good thing because it's the only thing he does well. He's not very bright otherwise, but he knows how to elbow people out of the way that, given the chance, would totally outshine him. MC got rid of some folks that were the actual drivers of the bus. Too bad MC wasn't able to properly drain the swamp. Now all that is left is a bunch of blowhards swimming around in a huge cesspool.

L "Put it on my Tab" F?

Don't worry, LF will be gunning for SW now. And although I believe her to be calculating and conniving, all on her own accord, neither of the Pauls are around anymore to shield her. It does appear that the male leaders in this company love them some damsels in distress. Not a good business model.

The bad news, all of the good leaders have either left or have been forced out of the Brilinta brand team. Not a single one left has a damn clue.

The good news, they have less time to spend working on their IDPs and may be required to delive value to the organization. All of the tables in the HQ cafe have been vacant as of late.

HQ source here. It is very quiet, crickets crickets. Closed door meetings and a lot of private one on one meetings in leadership offices. Nobody is talking but the faces and body language speaks volumes.

Not surprised. Not many worker bees to shitcan. Very few contributors left. Leadership will have to start preying on their own. Will be tough for some to fire a direct report who goes a little bit above their marital vows to advance their career.

One of Larry's favorite targets is FB. Funny thing is that FB knows that Larry is a backstabber and the two of them continue the facade of being friends. It is all a facade.
