Must have missed the Onc cuts announcement,,however they have the opportunity and they should start down south (P Lee Thomas. 1st to go since HR does not see his track record of "Coaching out 2 good reps per year",,AN HR nightmare which Lilly loves to have.. some had said NY DD but don't know much. but to tame the monster you must cut at the top SM

All the "cuts" have an "n" in them.

Haven't heard many positive stories about DeMarco in NY. Rumors are all about absentee management, busy useless reports, zero follow up on action plans, women projects is priority and favoritism. Lilly values nowhere to be found. Smoke & mirrors career.

Be mindful of external coverage It's likely that news of the layoffs will reach the media and we should be prepared to get ahead of the story If appropriate, manage it proactively with media outreach and planning Examine the tone and factual accuracy of media coverage, assume that all employees are reading it, and consider how internal communications may need to shift or be supplemented in response to external reactionKeep in mind that the perception of a company "treating employees well" is a major driver of trust and perhaps at no other time is this more tested than during workforce reductions. Employee Seniority and length of service must be favored and implemented on an as need basis.

what is this garbage mentioned above bottom line is Onc is also getting rid of the 50+ year olds mainly men with a couple tokens in there because their salaries are too high and DR is getting ready to merge and get a golden parachute for he and the upper management swamp. No one with a salary over $150 and over 50 wii be retained longer than April 1. Call a spade a spade this is corporate America USA since obama was in control for 8 yrs and hasn't changed yet. Oh yea for pharma it is only going to continue to get worse. Only the big companies w lower salaries will survive.

The quote above is crazy. Yes all 50 plus year olds are good as gone in oncology this is life in pharma today. Why are you gone...because you make over $160k a year and companies can't afford these salaries in order to survive over the next 10 years. After Little DR gets rid of all the salaries by April 1.Lillys will be behind the hyphen because DR is looking for the golden parachute for him and other swamp management still w Lilly. This is the direction pharma and Lilly is headed because of the huge salaries. Only the biggest, youngest, smallest salaries can survive because billion dollar products are no longer marketable. Too many drugs fall out in research and diversity is what we need to hire because all new physicians coming out of medical school are diverse. They now longer need the ol white guy or gal (you are the hires and or employees of the past). SO if you are in Onc and over 50 and your salary is plus 150k you are out of Lillys by Q1, 2018. Take your 3 years and run, hope I helped you see the future.
