the industry. I heard 6 people are interviewing for the same spot.

My manager from my last company was all of the above. He was great.
Very hard to work for someone now that lacks all of those qualities.

 

Look it's this simple, play up any sports achievements you have, get your hair cut at SuperCuts, and for god sake don't mention his annual holiday party or his wife. Get the job, endure the abuse for 8 months to a year and flee with your experience to any other company and instantly make 20k more with less BS.

Not so fast my friend. The Company does a complete background check. This includes FBI Form 1011 which is outstanding warrants, felonies, complaints, tax avoidance and evasion, etc. Also any military records, if applicable, and a Big Three credit check. Once you are conditionally hired you must also pass a physical (no big deal) at which Company doctor takes blood, urine, ear wax, and stool samples. These for illegal drugs. The Company is particularly sensitive to drug history, given the nature of this sales job.

He is the best. Worked for him for years. Got many raises, two promotions, got plenty of time off when I needed it, invited me to his home for parties, he also hired my friend.

 

Anything nice posted about him is from his wife who works for and with him
