    Totally agree that this is bullshit. Quite funny though! Expect $130k for reps and a sign-on of $10k max. Everyone starts as an entry level Therapeutic Specialist. Say goodbye to your Super Amazing Senior Exec Sales Rep title. Majority of the 'district managers' have been hired. Gilead calls them Regional Directors so the post above is nonsense.

    Was given similar numbers by recruiter. RD in place in my area. Sounds like good opportunity. Was contacted on LinkedIn...I’m going to throw name in hat. Why not?

    The recruiter I talked to this morning said that my base of 173k wouldn't be a problem with the range they are paying. No mention of sign on bonus. She is getting back to me with phone interview time for next week. Sounds like process is moving fast for a product that isn't even approved. She said they anticipate approval this spring.

    I am a hiring manager and I will give extra attention to any Otezla reps. You better have the personal cell numbers of the KOLs in your territory or I will run your ass right out of the interview.

    It will be almost impossible to please me. I have been in Oncology with Gilead for some time and we know the specialty space.

    Rep salary no higher than $165, target bonus of $40k, 45k equity award
    DM salary no higher than $190, target bonus of $60k, 90k equity award

    Otezla reps need not apply

    That is awesome; I’ll check with The Candy Shoppe to see if they will let me bring a pole’ I don’t think it will be a problem as long as “interview” is during the day. I’m definitely one you won’t want to see slide away, IYKWIM.

    haha thats funny. I'm actually current Otezla rep and just got off phone with recruiter. She was going to confirm for sure- but she was told sign on bonus of 45k and 2500 shares of restricted stock. The salary you report does check out- she said 165k was max and had to have not just 5+ years of experience in Rheumatology but also launch experience in that space.

    There is no way they would give a rep 2500 RSU’s that is more than a new hire. I would check. Gilead gives a Dollar amount old day was a set number. This will be a tough market having to navigate the world of PA’s and step edits. Gilead force ranks you constantly for some it will be a culture shift for many .. it’s the Jack Welsch way that was adopted early on, company has a lot of Roche Management at senior level.

    Doesn't matter what the package is, I will be extra hard on any Otezla reps simply because of the initial poster. In fact, I can't wait to crush them in the interviews.
