Lilly announces a "... Part D Senior Savings Model that will allow people in the Medicare Part D program to buy their monthly prescription of insulin for no more than $35 starting January 1, 2021.

But under the Terms and Conditions, it says its not available to Medicare Part D participants.

Does this make sense to anyone?

    Terms and Conditions
Terms, conditions, and limitations apply to the co-pay cards that can be accessed through the Lilly Diabetes Solution Center. Not available to those patients with government insurance such as Medicaid, Medicare, Medicare Part D, TRICARE®/CHAMPUS, Medigap, DoD, or any State Patient or Pharmaceutical Assistance Program.

Does that mean UFC fighters, boxers, and people that dress up as knights for Renaissance Fairs?

It does indeed. It's a win-win! We look good on paper, can drone on about our patient-centic focus during lunch and learns, complete with tug-on-the-heartstrings DTC TV ads, but in reality there are only 3 actively competing renaissance fair jousters over the age of 65 in the US. One of them is on a SU, so maybe in a few years one of you will get a 75/25 Rx.
