So they've done it again -- laid off IS staff on Sept 12. The closest I have been able to determine is around 50 staff. Most seem to be Sr Mgr / Principal level (6). Many have been at Amgen for 10-15 years. I don't know about anyone else, but this was a big surprise to me. Still waiting to find out what work will be eliminated (ha) or who will pick it up. Presumably a bunch of level 5 will do the work without hope of a promotion.
