Amgen all together sucks! So many good people are gone and new leaders and decision makers are the worst. It’s unfortunate, it was good in the past. I can’t say when it started on this horrible downward spiral, but it’s the worst ever. Tampa was a good idea, but it’s a joke. Good people transferred losing benefits that every other Amgen site gives all employees. Salaries are much lower than other Amgen sites and stock only for level 6 and above.
Corporate has done a terrible job and some good Amgen people have been fired after relocating to Tampa. Too many injustices, too much abuse and I hear there’s some nepotism and cherry picking from leader to place faves in roles to be eyes and ears and make sure they are loyal. Buys them with a title and good salary, even if not qualified for the role/title. It’s all BS.
