I'm interested in selling rare disease as it seems less pressure since quota is low. is the pay good? Does anybody have any helpful tips they can give me?

It is until Biden becomes POTUS. There will be no mercy on the price gouging rare disease drugs do especially with old drugs refitted for rare diseases. Good luck

Rare disease is by far the best job in pharma. You are more valued by providers and more of an educator. Don’t let low quotas give you a false sense of security that job is easy. Quotas are low because number of patients are low. It’s like finding a needle in a haystack. You definitely have to have a hunter mentality and be comfortable in a much longer sale cycle than traditional pharma.

As far as money, it’s much better all the way around from salary, bonus and equity.
