She's guaranteed a cushy job with RSUs.

But that would be assuming Vanda still exists ( I say as falling out of my chair laughing)

I am stilL Floored how can a company continue to take money away from front line employees? To senior leadership: how does this motivate people to go out and help push your drugs, knowing that it is not about helping patients get the medicine they need, but instead knowing it is about your greed. When will you listen to hundreds of former and current people that this is not the right way to run a business. Treat people like you would want to be treated. Think about these patients that really do need medicine and you are making it impossible for them to get it. Because all you care about is your stock and lining stockholder and your pockets.

It's common sense which is non-existent in the decision makers at Vanda. When they don't care about anything but money, nothing good happens.

When do we think the next purge will be? Before end of year or after first of year. Any word on if they are selling the company?

The writing is on the wall. FDA warning letter is the first of many formal interactions with the FDA. ONLY 3 companies got warning letters this far in 2018. Vanda has definitely been on the FDA radar. And Dr Poly, you have yourself and your "leadership" imbeciles to thank and no one else.

Isn't the Immortal CEOs daughter in charge of digital communication as well as the website? Yet, it will still somehow be someone else's fault.

I don't mean to scare anyone but I was at a company that received one of those warning letters and then the entire salesforce was let go a few months after.

agreed with first poster re warnings letter. this is just the beginning. FDA requested additional materials. And why would Vanda request a meeting with the FDA if this were as simple as adding risk info to the website?
yes, to the question re CEO's daughter.

Poly thinks he will get the FDA to rescind the letter since he is a delusional POS.

He wants to meet so he can try to figure out what else they have on him and Vanda that has not yet been made public.

Washington DC is full of disgruntled former Vanda HQ employees that MP the Great treated like dog poop. How many have simply handed files to the FDA. How many are now FDA employees. You reap what you sow, you criminal CEO.

The violations discussed in this letter do not necessarily constitute an exhaustive list. It is your responsibility to ensure that your promotional materials for Fanapt and Hetlioz comply with each applicable requirement of the FD&C Act and FDA implementing regulations. If you believe that your products are not in violation of the FD&C Act, include your reasoning and any supporting information for our consideration. Failure to correct the violations discussed above may result in FDA regulatory action, including seizure or injunction, without further notice.

This is just the beginning of the end.

ANSRs may realize that Vanda may be the beginning AND the end of their careers in pharma

So what comes next at the investment call? Do you think they will address the letter?

Pappy Polymeropolous will blame the FDA and act persecuted then defer to the CFO (Cheif Fudging numbers Officer) who has been directed to say that the letter has contributed to increased revenues and more Hetlioz intakes.

They are a bunch of fools. They may fool the analysts, for now. But being arrogant with the FDA and lying in SEC fillings will catch up with the chief fudging officer and his boss Mihales the court jester.

agreed - the arrogance with the FDA is hilarious. although poly seems to have dirt on someone over there.

so in the 3 rd quarter operating expenses went down almost 10 million. This says why the did the purge to hire 22 year olds because the other good reps were costing them way too much money. And they paid out second quarter bonus’s to only half the sales force and decided to take 70 percent of that away as well. No wonder they made so much more money in quarter 3.

two different analysts asked for the breakdown of blind versus sighted patients receiving Hetlioz and received the same song and dance as they did in Q2. Why do the CEO and CFO either continually lie or be completely evasive to analysts and shareholders? CEO stands for Criminally Evasive Ogre.
