While Baxter and CSL are assembling major patient support operations, it appears Grifols has determined that is not the way they are going to run their business. As a long time user of Gamunex I am very disappointed. Trying to find anyone in Research Triangle who you can talk to, let alone be able to help is ridiculous.
I needed some support to be able to stay on the product, but it appears I'll have to go to a CSL product.

Mark, Unfortunately, Grifols is not offering much in the patient support arena. The company appears to focus more on profitablility and the next shortage in the market. Several of the National support groups are concerned over the funding allocations for them.

Talk about a deep and disturbing culture. Grifols execs thinks patient support is defined as bras and jock straps with the Grifols logo !

The comments are as I have found. Perhaps I was spoiled by Cutter, Miles and Telecris. heck, I tried to get phone numbers of local reps. I was give three different number for a regional manager. Each was disconnected for a wrong number. I tried to get the director of sales in Canada, but his gatekeeper is too tough for me and the cell phone number I had for my local rep is no longer her number. The 800 number I was give for her so I could leave a message has not been responded to.

    Very frustrating

Are you a healthcare provider? It's not difficult to get in touch with customer service for any company. If you are a patient, go thru your doc, the rep can't help you.

  10. The rep can help if I need the number of a rep in another territory. It is not difficult to get in touch with customer service with Baxter or CSL. They are promoting it every chance they get. I even get calls from them regularly. yes I did sign up for their service.
I've been on Ig therapy for over 30 years and spent over a million dollars on Ig therapy . .all within the same "bloodline of your product. We deserve to be treated better.
It's obvious you, like the rest of your company, has no idea about the market you operate in

please stop it. you think we are here to service you just because you use the product? go thru your doctor and ask him questions that is the right thing to do.

here's the deal, my son is gong on a college intern program half way across the country. He leaves this week.
Since he has been on Gamunex for the past 8 years, I was looking for a place to get his infusions, preferably one that had Gamunex in their formulary.

In the end we found a hospital where he could get his infusions, but Gamunex is not in their formulary, so he is being switched to the Kidren product. Although it is a big deal to us, for Griffols it's only about 500 grams total, unless he decides not to switch back.

Wow. And you wonder why people have a low opinion of you reps?

Not really, it's just common sense to go thru the health care provider. That's the way it's always been done.

    Hey Everyone -

does anyone know if Onc Reps promote patient support and copay services to the provider offices? or is that just highlighted and then a field reimbursement specialist comes in? Do reps ever have a pull-through piece that they show to providers that announce coverage on a particular plan?
