With the history of disastrous developments, you'd think they'd long gone by now. Guys are teflon. Guessing things are so bad, the board knows it will be a hard to sell to get real executives to come run the company.

Roger Goodell has a higher approval rating!

Goodell also makes billions of dollars for his people. That’s not the case here.

Seems obvious street has lost any trust they had in management. The analysts on the call were almost laughing at the futility of sales/margins. Holmes and Madison are dullards for raising and then missing guidance.
Any idea how they still have jobs? Pictures of SK?

In the ideal scenario, the executive search by the Board is already underway. The BoD isn't going to let anyone go without replacements lined-up. This could take time.

More likely scenario is that the BoD is okay maintaining the status quo. They've repeatedly showed complete indifference to management failures and shortcomings. Only small fish getting canned.

Why are you still at Keryx? Can't find a job elsewhere?

Management has become a running joke on most forums, among analysts and even near their own offices. Yet still no changes....hmm.

I think you answered your own question. Those who are to leave have been leaving. Some, like those in the SoCal region, have simply been terminated. Remember, this company loves administering beat downs and following through on their intimidation and threats. Will you be next?

    Yes management needs to go...
This note is to alert you of a product packaging issue that has been identified within a specific lot (Lot # AH3842) of Aurxyia® (ferric citrate). Silica gel beads from the desiccant (StripPax® sorbent from Multisorb Technologies) were found loose in some Aurxyia bottles, which may lead to a potential patient ingestion hazard. The desiccant contained in each bottle functions as a preservative, and lies within a small packet. This packet may not have been properly sealed, leading to the above observation and potential safety concern. The extent of the impact, whether additional lots are affected and the reason why this packaging issue is occurring is still unknown at this time. DaVita Rx is actively monitoring the situation.

The manufacturer, Keryx® Biopharmaceuticals, Inc., has been notified of this issue, and we are awaiting their response. A Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recall notice has not been issued at this time. DaVita Rx is in the process of submitting an FDA MedWatch Adverse Event Report.

The affected lot(s) have been quarantined at all three DaVita Rx pharmacy locations, and steps are being taken to notify prescribers and patients of this issue. We are actively working with Keryx® to obtain guidance for patients in the event of potential desiccant ingestion and to ensure that patients receive replacements for the affected product.

    Please note:

    • According to available scientific literature, current poison control information and the manufacturer of the desiccant, small amounts of silica gel are not likely to cause adverse events and/or pose a significant danger or risk to adult human subjects1,2.
      • The silica gel amount found in the Auryxia product bottle is considered minimal.
      • A higher incidence of side effects and/or choking hazards have been reported in children under the age of six2.
    • Since the extent of this packaging issue is not known at this time, you may wish to change therapy based on the clinical circumstances and prescriber judgment.
      • Several other commercially available non-calcium containing phosphate binders may be substituted if deemed appropriate. As always, DaVita Rx supports prescriber choice and judgment.

We will update you as more information becomes available.

DaVita Rx is committed to patient safety first and foremost.

Why would anyone at Marina Drive want to interrupt their holiday cyber shopping to issue some sort of statement now? So much easier to cut and paste investor conference updates.

When did DaVita send out that notice about the problem and the need to alert the FDA?

How is this not considered something that management needs to address shareholders about? There were already lawsuits concerning the hiding of the previous manufacturing issue and supply interruption news, and if now, if true, this? I'd guessing major investors were notified. It is no longer simply ineptitude, it is bordering on criminal.
Though there is no date on this, which is interesting, could it be the old news?

Seriously! Even if this is an immaterial situation, make a simple statement that the matter has been/is being addressed. Stock slides lower every day (Post-IDA approval..!) Get it together!

Amazing the most popular topics on this board and others is management malfeasance. At this point I can't imagine them recruiting top talent and building a strong sales team until there are changes up top. Either way mgmt is finished, just a matter of when not if.
