The Sante Fe school shooter used relatively ancient firearms technology - a lowly shotgun and a revolver and still racked up a double digit body count. No misnamed "assault weapon", no high capacity clip, not even a semi-auto pistol. No he used technology over 100 years old and tried to use explosives. This isn't going to be dealt with by passing more gun control measures. They have and will continue to be ineffective in dealing with these types of situations. We need to harden schools by arming teachers and do a better job of picking up on the many clues that most of these sick kids leave prior to their attacks. We need to make it easier for mental health and law enforcement personnel to share information and flag potentially problematic kids.
