Any update here? I hear the culture is awesome and people rarely leave for other JnJ companies.

 

Vistakon doing well this year as new products were introduced.

Competition not doing well (look at the Alcon, valeant and B&L boards) and the category headed to commodity status.

Hard to get back to other sectors afterwards, so people stay a long.

 

JNJ Vision on the Surgical Side is great. 185-225k in pay range year over year based on product launches. TM . is the key spot. Or Laser guy is a good one. Docs dont do surgery on Fridays so its a 4 day work week

 

Will the opioid lawsuit have any impact on employment or cause a hiring freeze?

 

Perhaps. Keep in mind there's already an established cycle of "disposing" of older employees and replacing them with younger (uhm, cheaper) employees. Sure, they sprinkle in some younger employees for disposal as well, but only to make it look like it's not "an age thing".

 

"older" employees are not being phased out, they are leaving. The old days of working and making money are gone to the J&J way of working and we give you the "benefits" instead.

 

How y’all doing this year? Covid sucks. JnJVC still a great place to work? JnJVC seems to be all about political correct. Not about skills or performance.

 

SAE was the best until an incompetent, check all the boxes vp of sales came in; those fellas were making $325K and up. One at $600K the good ole days!!!

 

All of JJ is about being politically correct.

What about the Accuvue vision side as a rep? Bonus pay, salary, culture? Thank you kindly inadvace

 

Bonus: barely anyone got paid commissions last year and they did nothing about it. Quotas are through the roof this year and still unattainable for many. Salary is way below other companies. Culture is terrible at the moment. Horrible survey scores and it fell on deaf ears. Sherri is useless. Thomas left as President. They refuse to listen to the salesforce and people are leaving left and right as a result.
