Streamlining and integration will be coming. Senior leaders will be unveiling the new structure very soon.

Alignment under one umbrella being led by Hugh. 1st Ron is the first casuality, 2nd phase starts by not back filling territories, 3rd loosing employees to attrition, and 4th getting rid of the rest for the new footprint and the one hospital team. Everything will be completed going into 2019.
Leaning out the organization and cutting cost -( coming soon to a territory near you)

Here is the corporate code verbage for job cuts In the earnings release.

By the early 2020s, we expect to reduce the annual SG&A run rate by $100 million from the 2017 base we presented in our recast financial statements. Our board recently approved an incremental restructuring program to assist us in our SG&A reduction initiatives and the ongoing transformation.

i’d like to see Medicare get reimbursed from being raped these last few years. Some prison time might also serve as a good example to stop these practices.

They said it today, the drugs coming are all critical care focused vs acute.

It's not just one group. How can mnk make one team and only cut people from one group.
But Acute care might be more impacted. You can thank stansoporforin for change in plans.

Stani was a drop in the bucket, peak sales of 120 million, that won’t save anything it was/is a crap shoot and the bigs knew it but pushed anyway and we all see the result.

Now that Recro got shafted and the reps leaving mnk to go to Recro will be looking somewhere else.
That means when acute care restructures more people will have to be let go. Obviously mnk was hoping to have people head over to recro.
The real question is when will the announcement be made and what is the final number of territories they want for ofirmev.

Human Resources now limiting the amount of PTO you can accrue. Sounds like MNK wants to limit the amount of $$$ due to employees once the reckoning begins.

Here’s an idea. Let’s add more top layers. More VPs and Sr Directors. I have never seen anything like this. And HO giving himself a promotion for subpar performance. All while we get shit bonuses. There are way too many people at the top of this place. I say get rid of half the people at the top who have truly not held themselves accountable. Finger pointing and incompetence is what they are good at.

Good place to start all the VPs and new hires in the New Products group- what a waste, it will be 3 years before anything needs to be launched at the Home Office- what a joke

some on the p club trip over heard more announcements coming second week in July affecting ARD and Hospital. More cuts and leaning. For all managements protests they aren’t like Valeant they sure didn’t learn any lessons from Valeant. You can’t cost cut your way to prosperity quarter after quarter, at some point you have to invest in the future 3-5 years out and not try to dress up your immediate quarterly filings at the stake of your future. More evidence MT, HO and the rest of the EC are on borrowed time. They can’t concern themselves with anything past a 2-6 month time frame.

    Love it here.
Don't know if these layoff fears are true but hope I keep my job if there is a July and or Jan layoff.
