I received a job offer in quality and compliance with Horizon. I knew about the Amgen acquisition from the very beginning and everyone was transparent with me about not knowing what will happen. I enjoyed everyone I met during the interview process and would love to join the team. Reading this forum though gives me some hesitation. I currently work for another large company similar to Amgen's size, but they are going through some mass layoffs. The job with Horizon would be a great addition to my skillset, even if I do get laid off by Amgen in a year or so. Any thoughts form current employees?
layoffs at your current company? Whats your tenure? Severance may be worth waiting for because you will be so short lived at Horizon you might not get a good package. Just something to consider.
