Just announced a plant expansion - what say you now?

The minor plant expansion was planned more than a year ago. Big deal! A one room expansion!!! HA! The FDA is in their plant every day, plus Amgen suing them, plus other lawsuits and problems. KBI will be out of Boulder soon.

KBI is adding a 300 liter vessel. That's it. Their plant is too small to be considered commercial.

Their website lists 18 jobs to be filled at the Boulder facility.

That is about average for KBI Boulder. That is what happens when you have a 95% turnover rate every two years! Plus, the just ruined Coherus' new drug...1701!!!

I wonder how KBI will fill the many months on their schedule they devoted to Coherus 1701 now that the FDA denied them? Perhaps KBI should have at least attempted to make the product correctly, followed FDA regulations, and used some proper documentation/good laboratory practices.

What drugs does KBI produce for other pharmas? I know Trypsin for Merck but they must have other commercial customers.

Why so much deception at this company? Between the lurid staff/mangement affairs and the lack of FDA compliance it seems that someone is/was asleep at the helm.

KBI Boulder is quite a place! Hard to believe! Absolutely no ethics from top to bottom. 95%+ of the QA/QC and Manufacturing staff have left over the past two years and they were replaced with recent college graduates, who only think of money, and workers from other companies who have proven they have no regard for quality or regulations. The management is mostly former Merck workers from when the KBI Boulder plant was owned by Merck. There have been a few employees who fought back against the lack of ethics and law-abidance, but they have been harassed and forced out. Incredible to believe how bad this company actually is when you know the pharma world and see what happens at KBI from the inside.

I wonder why? That was part of their agreement with Merck.

Sounds Like KBI -Boulder is undergoing their yearly cleansing of corrupt management. Too bad they lack the guts to completely clean house.

KBI goofed up the process again and again until Merck backed away from them.

Wait until KBI figures out how little your new QA hire actually works- 50%? Good luck with that.

Hmmm. KBI had an FDA PAI in December 2016 but the FDA never posted the inspection in their online inspection database. Why are the results being hidden? Was the PAI so bad that the FDA denied KBI? Does anyone know why the inspection was not posted by the FDA?

You people on here have no clue what you are talking about. Quit spreading lies about KBI. There are plenty of employees at KBI who are highly ethical, compliant with regulations, dedicated and hard working. The site is highly successful and will be in business in Boulder for many years to come. So shut the F*CK up!

Highly successful though KBI is losing tens of millions of dollars and clients are abandoning KBI? HAHA! You must live in a fantasy land if you think KBI is doing well. How about how they messed up Coherus????
