With this merger, the only thing that hasn't changed is Keystone gets to infect yet another organization. What does it say that the weaker company gets to implement their CEO in the deal?

Have to agree pretty much a yawn. Southern is a 10 person operation out of California that sells a South African Nobel and Strauman clone. Not setting the world on fire. They have 6 reps throughout the country. They sell to old school Branemark doctors who want to save money and doctors who like the idea of. 8 and 9 mm diameter posterior implant. I would think the Keystone name and reputation would harm the relatively unknown but neutral name of Southern Implants. Either way unless Kehoe bought Keystone for book value or less and plans and liquidating for more than he paid I don't see how this was a smart move.

 

Desperation will take you in strange directions. If they held a press announcement for this thing, the town's local newspaper would send the pimple-faced intern to cover it on his way back from a coffee run for the staff.
