LABCORP LOUISVILLE CYTOLOGY

So I heard that LabCorp Louisville closed it's doors August 2016. How many were laid off?

 

Not sure how many there were. I can tell you that none are left.

 

LabCorp Louisville is still very much operating! Now, the only local LC folks are the phlebs, supervisors, supply warehouse people and a few HR people at the bldg. We are VERY MUCH still in Louisville. Not sure who told you all that???

 

I said Labcorp cytology shut down. I don't care if there are some phlebs and others still in the town.

 

What's going on in southern Cali other than the usual stuff? Any truth to the rumor that the smaller lab outside of Los Angeles is winding down and gong to San Diego? All of you Trump supporters: how do you like him now? How would you handle the Planned Parenthood clinic closures and Ryan-Trump Care? Isn't this supposed to be a secret? We heard the same rumor. Did they renew the lease on the lab there? The future of Obama Care is in the hands of the Senate now and that's a big "?". It would' not be the first time that corporate walked into a business and fired everyone without notice. it is all about the bottom line, so good luck with all of that.

Of course , it is customary to offer you a bonus to stay until the transition is complete, and if that works for you, go for it. Look out for yourself because it is doubtful that your management will. Who can guess what they have been offered to not abandon ship.

It would be only fair and right if Labcorp updated the premium time pay rate it pays in lieu of overtime to cytotecnologists. It has not increased in over 10 years and does not compare to what other labs pay today. Don't expect managers to speak up for techs when they benefit by rewards and bonuses for their form of craziness.

 

Yes. When you are rewarded and awarded for wage theft, insults, deception and lies, that is crazy.

 

They'll have you training your replacements. That's how they do things. You won't see it coming.
