What about Proove Biosciences in Irvine? I saw the FBI raided them for fraud on the news.

Are you talking about Compass Laboratory out of Memphis? There also appears to be one in Huntsville AL. Are they related?

I am not sure about an investigation but I can tell you the Compass is Memphis is a disaster. They have hired a bunch of reps and tried to break into the cardiovascular and pharmacogenetics space and apparently can't seem to bill and make any profit. They drop employee's quickly with little to no logic. The guys that run Compass aren't smart enough to figure out how to do something shady. They are just plain shady on how they treat people and hire people based on who they are to the owners and not if they are qualified for the position. I am sure they will close their doors soon and all I can say is BYE!!!! They are suing some shady billing company who I think is somehow telling them they are not getting paid by insurance and pocketing the money. Other labs seem to successfully bill and get paid on insurance so I have no idea why they ignore the warnings and just fire the billing company. I don't wish them anything but doom and failure!

Every lab that bill tox, PGX & genetics is under investigation. They just don't know it yet. The feds and private insurers will get them either by repayments through audits or by sicking the Justice Department on them through the OIG. This is a witch hunt like no other, just so the feds and private insurers can divide the country up between Quest and Labcorp. If you don't believe this, how come the FTC is allowing Quest and Labcorp to buy up all these hospital labs and create monopolies through out the country. How come almost every states Medicaid HMO plans are going to either Labcorp or Quest. Why did ACLA agree to PAMA? Because Quest and Labcorp know they can withstand cuts that their competitors can't. The big 2 know that most labs will be bankrupt by 2022, just in time for single payer. When single payer comes Labcorp and Quest will compete in every market exclusively as Hospital Outreach labs will be outlawed and any other labs left standing won't be allowed to bill the single payer. This is coming. I also predict by 2025 the single payer (the feds) will make all healthcare in this country non-profit and will force Quest and Labcorp to follow. Once this happens Q & L will do a deal with the government to combine their companies, give the labs to the feds and have a management contract to run the labs. The socialist/communist agenda is coming fast to healthcare and nothing can stop it.

Actually no. I am very positive. Or at least I was until Obamacare. They fu**ed us all. The Dems hate for profit companies, especially in healthcare.

I have more knowledge in my left nut than you do idiot. I have been correct since 2012. Tox is dying for all the corrupt labs that average over $200 per claim. The new average will be in the $100 range which my lab knows how to make profits on. You are uneducated on what is happening. You to wake the fuck up!

ROFLMAO Stop it! You're making my stomach hurt from laughing so hard at your stupid ass. The new average will be in the $100 range. LOL
You crack me up. Let me guess, next you will say you can flap your arms fast enough that you can fly around the room too because you have as much of a chance of doing that as there is of your prediction of $100 being the average payout on Tox in the future.

Feds are now aggressively shutting tox down. This is sounding eerily similar to when compounding started shutting down. If there is anything to be learned from compounding, if the field is considered excessive or questionable, it will be shut down and people will go to jail. Do not let greed overtake your sense of rationality.

This response shows what an idiot you are. Tox will be $100 average. CMS is realizing that $107 for a screen is outrageous compare to what that screen actually costs $maybe $6 total. They will than set that price at $20 for a immunoassay screen and have 1 tier for confirms at $100. Then the private payers will give a % of medicare and then it is game over for your stupid as. You were probably the guy that said pathology testing is awesome and the rates will never go down. You my friend are a mooooooooooooron!

hahahahah tox will never be 100 bucks. Never. Yes labs overbillinng will always be forced to go in network. Following cms rates which is more than 100 bucks. Why would commercial pay less than Medicare??? Stop trolling ur so clueless and its unfortaute for u that u been dealing with this bc ur lab doesn't have in network contracts and overbilled. No one wants to read ur bs on cafepharma. U trying to scare people won't help ur cause

Commercials pay in network labs a % of medicare now you fool. Aetna is 58%, United is 40%, BC/BS is 60%-75% based on carrier. You know nothing. All the commercial insurers are starting to require clearinghouses for out of network labs, which then reject their claims, or they are paying the patient directly which makes the lab chase the patient for payment. This is happening now! You need to do your homework. I have looked at 5 toxicology labs this year that are for sale. The EBITDA of these labs is about 15%-20% of revenue. That is way low. Tox labs used to be 40%-50% EBiTDA. The issue is that labs are only collecting on about 50% of their OON claims and the other claims reimbursements are dropping. You lack of knowledge is astounding!

My lab is fine and I am getting paid. It all you OON labs that are in trouble. This was warning that your days are numbered not mine. We are profitable at $100 per drug screen. Your loser lab is not!

It is a bogus claim. Reimbursement should be 20 and confirmation 15. The fee is a joke a wrong.Bullshit test for years
