Launch money

    BI doesn't pay it's reps launch bonuses for new indications/products. Every company out there knows that this is how to strike while the iron is hot and to grab market share. When the new CV indication launched, it was said that reps didn't discover this molecule so why should they get any extra money?? The same will happen with Trijardy and the HF indication. If they 25B by 2025, they need to pay launch money for elite effort! If not, they will get the same extra effort they pay for...I get paid to sell the products I have with the indications they have. Extra work keep being piled on and now reps are being pitted together to the death in the Hungry games. Who ever thought of this should be fired. If a rep can't present a detail, they should be managed out, not spend all of this money to go to vegas, where people can't breathe, and do what DMs are supposed to do on field rides. Come on BI, be better.

    As I have repeated numerous times on this board BI does not have a sales culture. They never have and never will. This is a place to hang out and hopefully make targeted bonus while putting up with the ridiculously low base. Enjoy the generous PTO and relatively laid back work environment. They want us to do ridiculous role playing for a couple days? Who cares, say a nice F U while smiling and doing the phony role play. Suck down the free booze,hit some strip clubs,hook up,whatever.

    Listen, with a new IC person and obviously people read this board, if there are constructive ideas, they could listen. Better than being told that the scientists deserve the bonus since they discovered the drug! Trijardy is going to launch and so is heart failure. If they want it to be a success, they should pay launch money. If you want the same trajectory we are on, then keep paying the same. Pay for performance.

    IC team doesn’t go to CP to determine pay. If they did, we’d all be grossly overpaid.

    company would prefer to pay companies like ZS and McKinsey to benchmark the organization versus other ‘like’ manufacturers.

    just be careful what you wish for. With greater pay comes greater expectations. Remember that Pete. remember that.
