Marketing is the single greatest cancer on this industry
They changed the order of things because they were MBA’s and knew better. They had all sorts of data to become analytic geniuses and would generate more data by reaching out to physicians who gloat behind their back and tell us they tell them what they want to hear in exchange for the compensation they received.
Industry wide these guys have fucked up every company. No worries, as the rep job dissolves so will the marketing jobs. They will keep a few folks around but without a bunch of reps and managers to create bull shit there is no use for huge marketing groups. So marketing can go fuck themselves out a job.

Sounds like a lot of angry, ex-reps still pissed they lost their job and can't get back in posting here. There may be some layoffs due to this mess at some point but some of the stuff I'm reading here is pathetic and laughable.
