half of the average sales force never leaves their home on most days. Sales forces are worthless. You can cut most and sales will go up. So wil savings on all the people who hide and seek and say they are sales people. Who ya foolin.

The vacation policy sounds about right. Everyone is on vacation most days. Management totally sleeping at wheel. Goofballs

The layoffs have already started, with a just a few here and there every week in corporate. Can’t speak for sales.

Executive vision is to 'transform' Alcon over the next 24 months - for sure Alcon will be a different entity than it is today; revenues are 30% below what they were pre-Novartis; this means downsizing, re-scaling, layoffs, re-positioning, and what not. Painful period coming up, unfortunately ...

Most FW-based directors and above are quaking in their expensive boots - this under-performing middle layer will be the first to be let go. IT is the worst offender for having too many layers, directors reporting to directors, etc. Perhaps the blood-letting is appropriate

US team should be fine since their performance is strong. Global has recently added people, so they probably won’t cut anyone. ROW should be concerned. Underperforming and overstaffed.

Well the dry eye device has fallen flat and the brand teams approach and sale leader have been trying magic potion hokie pokie tactics.

    time to change the plan!

Was it more than 30? You gotta think all those bulky sales feet on the street are gonna get it soon. 300 reps with the work ethic of 12. You gotta think the hammer is falling at some point

We should start by trimming the fat aka letting the contract reps go. I used to carry Systane. But they subbed it out to a bunch of concierge guys who do absolutely nothing. First things first, let's get rid of these clowns, HCP concierges. Total shit show

You ain’t seen nothing yet. Q1 earnings will be offset by major layoffs. The worst is yet to come.
