This will be the fourth time this year that walking papers will be handed out. How many more after this?

A poker game gone badly wrong. The fog will disappear sometime in April. Employees will realize the hand they were dealt.

The total number of affected individuals won't be changed. However, the layoff notices won't be printed until middle of next week. There will be some volunteers and if their names are not on the list, the equivalent numbers of employees could be saved. Several employees were saved in 2009 and 2010. Those who want to save their job should plead their case to the decision makers (BR or TC). Nothing to loose. Think of it like getting on a standby list.

That's only a little over half of the number needed. It's not enough to offset the declining loss in revenue and loss in income from partnerships (cancelled programs). Other departments need to give up some of their FTEs. Next week marks the end of the first quarter.

Layoffs would only occur if there is bad news to report. You've witness the impact of bad news on AMLN the last few weeks --- "not something anyone would want to do again". No bad news.....no layoffs. Keep all the news "positive" and you'll be fine.

Despite all these rumors about layoffs, quite many employees have reached out to management and show their support. A fantastic demonstration of Amylin's culture beliefs. These engaged employees understand the "how we do our business". Their devotion and unconditional support will be acknowledged at the next AEM.

A record number of files being deleted from network drives and computer hard disks. Why?

Not sure. A lot of the employees are doing it. Why are these employees NOT obeying the Record Retention Policy?

Employees are bored and upset. The more time employees have to work on the computers....the worst the problem will become.

Employees are doing suspicious activities to the network drives and share points. There is not enough tech guys in IT to figure out what's going on.

IT should monitor uploads and downloads or restrict access to "read only" on network drives, Harbor, Wave. Record retention policy.

Not enough IT guys? A child could figure out what's going on. You are stupid.
