Not true, I knew multiple people that were given 3 weeks notice during a "transformation" a few years ago.

California here, yes, many CSS notices went out yesterday

    The number involved is large

Bigger bonus for Directors &'VPs with this and tax cut

When you say "notices went out". . .does that mean the employee was notified or will be notified this week?

I checked with a contact in Irvine. No layoffs occurred.

Let's have "legit" posts here. . .not BS troll posts.

No layoffs at CSS. . .total BS.

Secret Cork #3, huge new capacity coming online, so much for MAGA! Maybe new corporate tax cuts will prevent plant relocations from US to abroad in the future. Warsaw, IN people - dig in.

What? They didn't do layoffs at the usual time (mid-November, with the f*ck off date on 31 Dec)???

Corporate tax rate in Ireland is 12.5%, much lower than the US. The US tax cut will make no difference, manufacturing will continue to be relocated to Ireland.

Time to remove this sentence from the Credo: Employees "must have a sense of security in their jobs." It's simply not true, and hasn't been for some years.

#57 Totally wrong. U.S. tax cuts already are showing companies (many) are giving stocks and bonus and incentives to their employees. The U.S. will be the business capital of the world. Europe will redirect their monies here and $$$ is coming back to the U.S. where it belongs. The tax rate now is more equitable and will encourage companies to invest in research, shareholders, etc.

    blah, blah blah, blah blah

J&J has to appease China, Ireland, etc

Totally forgot that they are a US company

Have been moving US jobs off shore for years, starting with Consumer to Brazil then the Puerto Rican mafia moving in

Would like to think that will change

Nothing changes very fast at J&J

Still using IBM computers and no PTO

    Last company on both
